Snuggling up on the sofa in front of a romantic comedy could bring couples closer together, according to research by the University Of Michigan. Watching for 30 minutes was found to boost progesterone levels by more than 10 per cent, and make us more attentive.

2. Eat 'hot' foods

Eating half an ounce of dark chocolate each day will help raise dopamine levels in the brain, enabling you to experience greater sexual pleasure, according to Marrena Lindberg, author of The Orgasmic Diet. She also recommends increasing your fish oil intake and reducing caffeine.

3. Play nice


There are so many fun ways to experience eroticism, there is really no excuse for having boring sex. Why not take a break from the norm and use your imagination to spark more ideas.
